ALL OF US ANGELS (ii) BECOMING

All of us Angels (i) and (ii)  are linked, Becoming representing the masculine and Essence the feminine, connected in their narrative, both are an exploration into those infinitely changeable aspects of self that build an individual. We each carry a vast quantity of labels or qualities; gender, ethnicity, body type, sexuality, profession, aspects of character and nature as well as a diverse collection of family styles and a myriad of other influential roles.

The feathers that spring from these two sculptures’ shoulders are emblematic of all those intangible elements which appear over the course of our lives, some of which stay with us, while others are more transient in their nature and are left behind as we evolve.
